My Bikes: Canyon Roadlite CF 2018

In the end of 2017 I started to commute 50 kilometers a day. I found out that my old Canyon Inflite Cyclocross bike was not perfect for that job. I wanted to have no race bar, I didn't like to have a front deraillieur and the weight of about 9,5 kg was also a little too high.
So I found out that Canyons new line of fitness bikes were pretty decent bikes. Especially the top of the line Roadlite CF. The men version was alsmost exactly what I wanted. Canyon used nice DT Swiss carbon rims and the SRAM Force 1 shifting group. BUT! I also looked at the women Roadlites and fond the wonderful colour called "Meteor Grey - Red". I was instantly in love. The only problem was that Canyon didn't sell this bike with the SRAM Force 1 shifting.
After some hard thinking and many calculations I ended up bying the Roadlite WMN CF 7.0 with Shimano 105 shifting. I replaced it with SRAM Force 1 and I had to buy new wheels because the DT Swiss hubs that came with the Roadlite SF 7.0 weren't compatible with Srams DX driver body. I got DT Swisss ER 1400 wheels. Those are even lighter than the carbon rims of the Roadlite CF 9.0.
In addition to those important changes I also bought my first power meter for this bike. Because of the Sram shifting I decided to pick the Quarq DZero. The last thing I replaced was the saddle. I use now on every bike my beloved (and very light) Tune Speedneedle.
Now I have a truly light (7,4 kg) commuter. I ride it for almost a year now and I rode 6212 km with it. I just replaced the chain the first time. It feels like a really solid bicycle.
