Last week Orbea released the new Alma. The frame only weighs 830 grams in size M. I don't know if this is the lightest hardtail frame out there but it is definitely among the lightest.
In the end of 2017 I started to commute 50 kilometers a day. I found out that my old Canyon Inflite Cyclocross bike was not perfect for that job. I wanted to have no race bar, I didn't like to have a front deraillieur and the weight of about 9,5 kg was also a little too high.
I thought I would start with a series featuring the bikes I have at the moment.

mountain bike. But I was in the middle of my study and didn't have much money.
